Taryn began her journey working with children in an educational setting after graduating high school. Since then, her passion for working alongside children has only grown. “I believe it is important to create an atmosphere where children feel safe and confident, as well as an environment that is flexible and accommodating to each child’s individual interests, needs, and personality”.
Taryn spent the spring of 2016 on a university exchange in the Netherlands, received her Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Calgary in 2017, and is now pursuing her Bachelor of Education at Ambrose University. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, and spend time outdoors with soccer, hiking, yoga, snowboarding, and lots of camping.
