Prince of Wales Elementary

Our Centre

They say each snowflake is unique and when gathered together their strength is amazing. That is exactly how we feel about the children in our care. Each child is unique in their talent, skills and interests. At TOPP KIDS we strive to build on the many attributes the children bring to our program by providing a comfortable environment with many opportunities for exploration and development. Everyone contributes to developing a community atmosphere where play and laughter are key to our daily operation.

Centre Values

  • Inclusion
  • Respect
  • Quality of Care

Your Program Coordinator – Courtney Smith

I have a great passion working with children through many outlets, as I believe that children must be supported and engaged in order to grow and develop. Children are the future leaders, parents, students, visionaries, inventors, travellers and workers… What do we want our future to look like?Originally from Toronto, Ontario I have moved around Canada, working in Saskatchewan and British Columbia gaining passion and experience for children and development along the way. I have been working with children for many years in home environments, preschools, kindergartens and other before and after school programs.

In my spare time I am a child development assistant for children with special needs, working along side speech pathologists and occupational therapists. I am very passionate about my jobs working with children and plan to continue building my knowledge on child development. Currently involved in learning about childhood studies and further development, I have completed my early childhood education diploma as well as attended an art and design University in Toronto.
