This workshop will focus on how to support children with disabilities to have purpose in their days rather than just keeping busy with activities. Cara will then share her Top 10 Ideas for Community Building. Get ready for a workshop packed with examples, stories, and ideas you can try right away! Participants will be able to state what a positive role is and how to transfer that to support children with disabilities. Cara will also cover specific community building ideas that would be effective in helping children connect with others. Participants will leave with an understanding of where the community is – and what their role should be in supporting children with disabilities.
