I was born in the small town of Maur Mandi, Punjab, India. There, I completed my M.Sc. in Mathematics and a B.Ed. degree, and I taught school-level mathematics for three years. Later, I immigrated to Canada as an international student to earn a Teacher Assistant Diploma. Currently, I hold an ECE Level 1 certification and am enrolled in ECE Level 2.
Based on my five years of teaching experience with students of various ages, I believe that children can learn and understand very quickly. We simply need to identify the right ways and teaching methodologies that best support their unique learning styles. By matching our approach to their needs, we can unlock every child’s full potential.
Growing up, watching the Hindi movie ‘Taare Zameen Par’ deeply inspired my journey into education. The film beautifully shows how a patient teacher completely transforms the life of a struggling child by understanding his unique needs. Seeing that impact made me realize how powerful the right teaching methods can be for a student. It motivated me to become a teacher who guides, encourages, and supports every child’s individual way of learning.
