Hi! My name is Kate. I have been working in Education for over five years and have a Bachelor of Arts in Education, English and a diploma in Media Studies. I love exploring the world and visiting the mountains with my friends and family. I enjoy taking photos of nature, animals and anything that I think has a great story! I believe that a photo really is worth a thousand words and that we can weave amazing tales from just one photo. My goal in life and as an educator is to share my passion for writing and photography with others, because a story can explain how we feel and what we are thinking in ways that we may not be able to easily articulate just by speaking. When I’m not writing and taking photos, I am watching Hockey, reading a good book and spending time with my family.
