Our Program
At TOPP KIDS Rosemont School, we believe in the power of connection, belonging, and community. Inspired by Rosemont School’s motto, Strength in Community, and guided by the UNESCO Four Pillars of Education — Learning to Know, Learning to Do, Learning to Be, and Learning to Live Together — our program creates meaningful opportunities for children to grow as learners, leaders, collaborators, and caring members of their community.
Using our PLAY, GROW, LAUGH & LEARN model, we provide rich experiences through our S.T.R.E.A.M. programs (Science, Technology, Reading & wRiting, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), literacy opportunities, nature exploration, leadership experiences, life skills, physical literacy, and Kids Clubs. Our environments are thoughtfully designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, exploration, and child-led discovery while supporting healthy lifestyles and active play through Alberta Active Afterschool guidelines.
At TOPP KIDS Rosemont, we value children as capable, competent, and full of potential. Through an emergent approach to programming inspired by Alberta’s FLIGHT framework, educators thoughtfully observe children’s interests, questions, and ideas and use them to help shape meaningful experiences, projects, invitations to play, and opportunities for collaborative learning. We believe learning happens through relationships, exploration, imagination, and authentic experiences that help children develop confidence, identity, well-being, and a strong sense of belonging.
Our educators work to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe to express themselves, take risks in learning, build friendships, solve problems together, and contribute to their community. We strive to nurture empathy, leadership, resilience, and global-minded thinking while creating joyful spaces where children can PLAY, GROW, LAUGH & LEARN every day.
The TOPP KIDS Rosemont School program is a before and after-school program for children in Grades 1–6. Spaces for Kindergarten children are limited to only one side of the day (Morning OR Afternoon), as the program operates before the first bell and after the last bell of the school day.
Our program is not just for those who need care but for every family that wants to see their child grow outside of school during those critical hours. Why waste time at home playing video games when there are so many fun things to do at TOPP KIDS?! Check out some of our daily PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS.
