The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for people facing crisis. As the city’s main charitable food hub and the most accessible food bank we have the capacity to serve families, individuals and organizations to fight hunger. They receive almost no government funding and instead they are by community for community, relying on the generous support of people.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW WHEN BOOKING
- During your booking you will be asked some personal questions like basic income and expenses. This includes government/income supports, rent, mortgage, utilities, childcare, medical, etc.
- Hampers are booked based on scheduled availability. Availability will fluctuate.
- There must be 10 full days between your last and next hamper.
- When you pick up your hamper, you must show identification for ALL members of the household.
