Description:
In this foundational workshop participants will gain knowledge, skills, and confidence in being able to effectively support their trans and gender-diverse clients, colleagues, and community members in an inclusive and affirming way. The workshop is broken into 4 units which: review the foundational learning surrounding gender diversity, introduce core concepts & foundational affirming principals; explore barriers facing trans and gender diverse folks; and provide and empower participants in the implementation of tangible actions they can act on to create more affirming spaces.
