Our Program
TOPP KIDS Out Of School Club at Holy Child School is a warm, family-centred club where children feel safe, cared for, and truly known. Built on strong relationships and shared values, our program reflects the importance of family, community, and connection that defines the Holy Child School community.
Guided by our PLAY, GROW, LAUGH & LEARN philosophy, our programming is emergent and relationship-based, shaped by children’s interests, experiences, and the values they bring from home. Through play, creative expression, S.T.R.E.A.M. experiences, life skills, Kids Clubs, and shared group activities, children grow socially, emotionally, and creatively in a supportive environment that feels like an extension of family.
Family partnership is at the heart of our program. We value open communication, trust, and collaboration with families, recognizing them as children’s first and most important teachers. By working together, we create consistency, security, and a strong sense of belonging for every child.
Leadership and responsibility are encouraged in age-appropriate ways. Through our Jr. Leader Program, children learn to support one another, model kindness, and take pride in contributing positively to their group.
Active play and physical literacy are part of our daily rhythm, supporting healthy bodies, emotional regulation, and overall well-being in alignment with Alberta’s Active Afterschool guidelines.
At Holy Child, TOPP KIDS is a place where children are cared for, families are valued, and community is built every day.

Full-Time Kindergarten Program
In addition to our regular before and after school programming, TOPP KIDS is proud to offer an morning kindergarten program for students at our Holy Child School who attend the PM class. Our team has created a program that compliments what they’re learning in their classrooms, while still PLAYing, GROWing, LAUGHing & LEARNing with weekly themes based on their interests.
