Maple Ridge School

At TOPP KIDS Maple Ridge, we believe it is our mission to make every child feel happy, safe and free to explore and learn, which we achieve through a program designed specifically to meet the needs of each child. Using our PLAY, LAUGH, LEARN & GROW model, we provide tons of opportunities to engage in STEAM, play, drama, literacy, clubs, and more. This all works to connect with the school’s motto of “Imagine, Inquire, Innovate, Inspire”. Our families and community are extremely important to us so we love involving our families and school in our programming, as well as hosting regular community events!

Full-Time Kindergarten Program

In addition to our regular before and after school programming, TOPP KIDS is proud to offer full-day kindergarten programs for students at our Maple Ridge School. Our team has created a program that compliments what they’re learning in their classrooms, while still PLAYing, GROWing, LEARNing & LAUGHing with weekly themes based on their interests.

Our program is not just for those who need care but for every family that wants to see their child grow outside of school during those critical hours. Why waste time at home playing video games when there are so many fun things to do at TOPP KIDS?! Check out some of our daily PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS.

Chelsea Hendricks

Program Coordinator

Chelsea's passion has always been to work with children. She strives to be the kind of educator and human that she would have felt safe with and had fun with growing up as a child herself. She loves spending time with her inner child and it expands out into her work and her personal life, whether it be blowing bubbles on her balcony, jumping through a sprinkler, or singing along to a song while wandering the grocery aisles. Chelsea has two years of professional early childhood education experience under her belt after graduating with her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Bow Valley College in 2020 but has lots of experience working with children via family, friends, or volunteering.

In her spare time, Chelsea volunteers with animal shelters, mostly through Alberta Animal Rescue Crew (AARCS), where she also fosters rescue dogs in need. Chelsea enjoys camping, swimming, collecting crystals, decorating too early for Halloween, and spending time with her friends.
