Hello families! My name is Kim, and I am so excited to be part of your child’s Out-of-School Care journey. I’ve always had a love for working with children. Growing up, I helped care for my niece and often felt like a “big sister” to her, which inspired me to step into the world of Early Childhood Education. When the opportunity to work in this field came my way, I took it and never looked back. I hold a Level 3 in Early Childhood Education and have been fortunate to work with children of all ages. I loved my time in daycare because the children were so full of joy, humor, and curiosity. At the same time, I really enjoy working with OSC children because of the unique and interesting conversations we share each day. My favorite part of this work is building strong connections and trust with the kids, and supporting them as they grow into confident, kind, and capable young people. Outside of work, life is full and wonderful! I recently welcomed my first baby, who fills my days with so much joy. I’m married to my best friend, and together we have two cats and two dogs who keep our home busy and lively. A little fun fact about me is that I was born in Germany and still speak the language fluently! I truly look forward to getting to know each of your families and working together to make sure your children feel safe, supported, and excited to come to our program every day.
