Hello! My name is Marie and I am from Quebec. I moved to Calgary 5 years ago and recently graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Childs Studies with a Major in Early Learning and Child Care and a Minor in Business.
I started working with children as a babysitter when I was 12 years old and have continued throughout my life, starting professionally as an extra-curricular animator at elementary schools leading activities. I have experience in Summer Camps, Early Childhood Settings, before and after school programs, and curriculum programming.
I love to explore new art forms, different physical activities, and new experiences. Anything that pushes me to think creatively and outside of my comfort zone makes me happy and content.
The best part of working with children is seeing the “ah-ha” moment in their faces when they understand something new or figure out a solution to a problem. I love supporting through their thinking process and working on their strengths and interests. It is a rewarding, fun, and ever-changing career and I am excited to work with TOPP KIDS.
