Breanne grew up in a small town in Manitoba called Minnedosa. It was there that she found a love for sports and being physically active. She started to coach youth rugby and soccer programs in her community. “This inspired me to be more involved within my community and gave me a passion for working with children”. She loves to foster relationships with children based on their interests and passions. Breanne values empowering the children to make decisions that allow them to explore the environment around them.
Breanne then moved to Calgary in 2012 to begin her studies at the University of Calgary, and to pursue her dream to play rugby at the post-secondary level. In 2020 she graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a leadership in pedagogy and coaching. Breanne is very involved in the rugby world, as she is also an employee with Rugby Alberta. She has coached multiple provincial female programs and is an assistant coach for the University of Calgary Dinos Rugby Team. September 2025 she is heading to England to cheer on Team Canada at the Rugby World Cup!
When she is not at a rugby field, she loves to spend time outdoors. She enjoys playing multiple sports on various recreation teams. She also adores being in the mountains and exploring new places. Feel free to give her your personal recommendations!
